There are moments in life that arrive quietly, yet redirect everything that follows.

I live and blend in Lucknow, and PÜRVAÉ began on my own wrists.

For years, my ritual with luxury perfume followed a frustrating pattern: an exorbitant bottle, an aggressive cloud of alcohol that hit the senses first, and a fragrance that had vanished into thin air before my workday reached lunchtime. In our climate, alcohol evaporates almost immediately, leaving behind a faint synthetic ghost.

What never left me were pure oils. A single drop of concentrated extrait dabbed onto the pulse points at sunrise, and it was still breathing on my skin when I returned home at night—close, warm, and intimate enough that only the people I welcomed near me could notice it.

“A spark appeared on 16 November 2024—unexpected, gentle, unforgettable. From that quiet winter morning came a name that stayed with me: Pūrvi, the dawn breeze, and Pūrva, the first light.”

Guided by that meaning, the name evolved into PÜRVAÉ—an accented French cadence that honors the timeless intimacy of classical Haute Parfumerie, where emotion meets precise distillation.

Months later, on 06 August, that private spark stepped out into the world. The date was chosen with deep intention—at the peak of the monsoon, when humidity awakens every dormant note in the air and skin holds perfume oil with natural, velvety radiance.

Today, we blend and fill every batch in Lucknow in limited quantities of a few dozen bottles. I personally wear every single creation before it ever receives its label. Some are quiet; some are deeply magnetic. The Unspoken remains the one I reach for in the morning, and I am humbled that it has become the one you cherish most too.

Beyond perfume, we craft sacred bambooless dhoop and pure sandalwood in vanity glass jars—because fragrance shouldn't end at your wrist. It lives in your sanctum, in the quiet smoke of your evening prayer, and in the space you create for yourself.
