PÜRVAÉ began with a moment—quiet, unexpected, and unforgettable.

On 16 November 2024, a spark appeared.
A feeling without a definition,
a word without a form,
a softness that left a trace in the air.

From that spark came Pūrva—
a Sanskrit word meaning the first light, the beginning, the east, the origin.
The point where night ends
and something new quietly takes its place.

Guided by that meaning,
the name evolved into PÜRVAÉ,
infused with a French tonality—
a nod to the timeless elegance of French perfumery,
where emotion and artistry meet.

Months later, on 06 August 2025,
that private spark stepped into the world.
The date was chosen with intention—
a reminder that some beginnings deserve meaning,
not marketing.

At the heart of this house stands our Nose-in-Chief,
the creator behind every scent—
composing fragrances through intuition, memory,
and the discipline that transforms feeling into formula.
Every blend echoes that first November spark—
subtle, atmospheric, unforgettable.

Customers interpret the name in many ways:
Some see Pur as pure,
others hear Vae as the whisper of vāyu—air.
Some see the philosophy of origins.
For us, it is all of these.
And something more.
