On 16 November 2024, a quiet spark appeared in Lucknow. It was not a corporate business plan; it was a feeling without definition, a word without form, a softness that lingered in the cool morning air long after the moment had passed. It sparked a restless question:
“In a world overflowing with loud, alcohol-diluted sprays that vanish before lunch, why does almost everything smell the same—and why does none of it stay?”
That single question set us on an uncompromising pursuit: to banish harsh ethanol and create pure perfume oils that fuse with your body heat, drawing those you welcome closer.
From Pūrvi & Pūrva to PÜRVAÉ
The soul of our house lives in the harmony between ancient eastern Sanskrit and classical French Haute Parfumerie.

Pūrvi (पूर्वी) — the gentle eastern morning breeze; the revered raga of dawn; the first breath of morning air that carries the scent of awakening flora across the earth.
Pūrva (पूर्व) — the origin, the first light, the east where darkness quietly dissolves and something extraordinary takes its place.

Infused with French tonality and an accented É—an homage to the classical intimacy of European Haute Parfumerie, where emotion meets precise distillation.
Our patrons hear their own poetry: Pur as 100% pure oil without synthetic alcohol, and Vae as the whisper of vāyu (sacred air).
06 August: The Sovereign Genesis of Purvae
While our private formulation began in November, 06 August 2025 is the sovereign launch and official birthday of Purvae—the day our first hand-blended extraits were sealed into vanity flacons and dispatched across India.
The date was chosen with deep intention, not arbitrary retail schedules. Early August marks the absolute zenith of the Indian monsoon—when the scent of the thirst-quenched earth is at its peak, atmospheric humidity is dense and pure, and human skin holds perfume oil with natural, velvety radiance.
On 06 August, we signed our covenant: to blend only in small batches in Lucknow, never dilute with alcohol, and create fragrances that stay alive for 16+ continuous hours. Every year on 06 August, we celebrate this founding dawn with our patrons.
